COMM 300 10 - Health Communication 1.00
Course provides an overview of theory and research related to the role of interpersonal communication and mass media in promoting advances in public health. Students engage with material through examinations and a culminating project in the form of a health communication research proposal or health intervention proposal. Course is offered once every three semesters for a full (1) unit; no prerequisite is required for enrollment but Communication Theory (COMM 100.1) strongly recommended. (Writing option).
