Course provides an overview of contemporary research and theory related to interpersonal and small group communication. Course places an emphasis on role of communication in initiation, maintenance and/or termination of relationships, properties of groups and group functioning as well as the role of communication in accomplishing group goals. Students engage with course topics through examinations and assignments. No pre-requisite. (Group I)
