This intensive performance and introductory screenwriting course teaches students the basic fundamentals of short film structure and musical storytelling through the guided, collaborative creation of a script in the emergent genre of the Short Film Musical. Prerequisite: 1 from among: ENG 200 3 , ENG 215 , ENG 216 , ENG 318 , ENG 319 , MUS 229 , THEA 200 1 , THEA 369 , an upper-level Film Studies course, or consent of instructor.
